The esthetic for this shoot is a mix of classic and modern. All of the paper details you'll see including the tiny flowers on the dress to the gigantic dandelions, to the fascinators, to paper flower wall installation, were all hand crafted.
From the designer, "we wanted to create something beautiful to showcase how much can be done beautifully with paper. The dress is made up of 300 small paper flowers on the bodice and dripping down the skirt, 200 leaves on the underskirt, and about 100 moonlight colored roses on the gauze train, which is the only fabric in the whole piece.

This shoot is unique because the focus is on the white paper details, with a few pops of pink. But because of the tonality of the white used there is still a lot of dimension to the photos. A great example of this is the bride in the paper dress in front of the paper wall. You would assume with all the white the photos would read very flat, but instead they are lovely for shadows and textures.
I love the drama, the uniqueness, and the attention to detail we're seeing here. It's bridal fashion meets art and I am absolutely inspired by all of the talent I'm seeing here. This dream team of wedding pros coordinated by Events by Sarah, truly made magic here and now you'll have to excuse me, because I have some serious pinning to take care!
