{Palette Love}: Gray & Yellow.

February 20, 2011

Gray & Yellow is definitely a palette that we've long adored. There is just something that is so fun about this dazzling duo. Perhaps it's because yellow is considered by most to be one of the most happy colors on the color wheel and gray is typically associated with being one of the most gloomy colors. When they come together, yellow really has a way of canceling out any kind of gloomy feel, that's for sure.

Modern, fun & laid back, this palette really is something special! It's one of those palettes I can imagine being used in many settings! Thinking of having your wedding in a modern city loft space or maybe you're looking for a palette to use for your vineyard wedding?

Both spaces will compliment this versatile palette! So what do you think about this palette? Is it a pair that you considering for your wedding? We feel like it's a great palette for any season really! But we mostly love it for Spring!

Love yellow weddings? Consider these yellow palettes!

Or maybe you're more of a gray lover? Try these gray palettes on for size!

I am definitely using this for my spring 2012 wedding, with the addition of blue...either aqua or navy, I haven't decided. Any thoughts? =)

I'm working with a couple using this colour palette and I'm really excited because there is so much you can do with grey and yellow.
