A Southern Fête with Beautiful Ideas Galore!

Is there anything dreamier than a twilight reception underneath a chandelier of moss and a table laden with candlelight? Nope, we don't think so, either. Event Designer, Southern Flair brought the magic on this day with florals from Southern Stems and Marigold and Moss LLC.

And lucky for us, A. Thomas Photography was there to capture it all so beautifully at The Venue at Murphy Lane. This shoot focuses on the romance of a wedding reception — an intimate gathering that highlights the elegance and timelessness of love.

The reception table is classic with a southern twist, and the bar setup is perfect for any southern wedding day. The real talk of this day? The wedding dress — flirty, timeless, and fun. Why only have one bridal look when you can have two, though? Scroll on down to see the pretty! Plus don't miss the cocktail recipe (any Old Fashioned lovers out there?)

The classic look of the dress is carried through in a bridal jumpsuit that also brings the party for the reception. The dress is perfect for the formal attitude that a wedding ceremony deserves, while the jumpsuit makes it easy for the bride to dance the night away!

Not to mention, two bridal bouquets-one styled with the more formal ceremony in mind, and one with more pops of color and a funky shape with the reception in mind!
The florals were a lush mix of anemones, hydrangea, garden roses, and ranunculus (just to name a few of the stems)
Calligraphy by Ga Moonshine Studios truly added an upscale vibe.
A modern three tier cake designed by Sweet Creations by Candi was the perfect blend of modern style and simple elegance...
...while tabletop rentals from plate It Pretty helped to set the scene for romance. And those sequin linens from Linen Hero? Oh. my. goodness!

Pecan Infused Bourbon

5 days (prep + inactive time)

To top the entire night off, a grand getaway car that brings that old-world feel to a new-world party. We can't stop swooning, y'all!
We told you this shoot was a beauty! Now, we're sorry, but you're going to have to excuse us, because we have some serious pinning to do. Over on pinterest that is. Care to join us?
