{Navy Blue, Blue + White}
A lot of times I find myself falling in love with color palettes that are simple. Like monochromatic palettes, for instance. What's not to love about this palette of shades of blue and white? It's elegant, it's sweet and it's definitely one that can't really mess up! It's easy to blend shades of one color so I definitely recommend that you do so. Trying to match the exact color for this or that will only cause you headache. And to be honest, when you have a little variation in a palette, that's when a true uniqueness unfolds and that variety is really to be appreciated if you ask me.

For this palette I imagined a Spring or Summer wedding. One that included all kinds of thoughtful details. For instance, I really love the idea of loosely tying silverware together with a ribbon. Oh, and I'm thinking that those deep blue heels would make the perfect ''something blue'' don't you think? Add in a touch of toile thanks to that beautiful blue china and some fun stripes - like the ones on that necktie and you've got yourself a really pretty wedding. Oh, and I'd be truly out of line if I didn't at least mention that gorgeous bouquet of anemones. What's not to love?

Using a monochromatic color scheme seems to be a no-lose situation. Once you decide on one color that you absolutely love, you can lighten or darken it and make a whole palette! The idea of not having to worry if things match exactly, because the palette is just different shades of one color, seems to be a great way to take the stress off and leave room for some fun pieces to be added as the event takes shape. Love it!
