Groovy Flower Festival Style Shoot

What happens when golden hour gorgeousness meets a Palm Spring-esque locale with plenty of eye-popping, citrus-hued blooms? A colorful kaleidoscope of inspiration, m'dears! That's what. With stunning captures from Katherine Rose Photography, florals from Hey Clementine Floral Design and event design, coordination, and rentals from Fruitvale Designs — there's no mistaking that this shoot has all the good stuff.

From the team, "The inspiration behind this elopement shoot came from our gorgeous venue located in Northern San Diego county. The venue, French in Firs, is a unique historical midcentury house with a breathtaking dome rooftop and midcentury design elements."

"The original owner was a botanist and planted dozens of unique tropical plants all around the house and grounds. The house really looks like Palm Springs but with gorgeous lush tropical botanicals all around it. Inspiration for our shoot is a 1960’s flower festival."

"We used pinks, oranges and yellow for florals with a ceremony arch shaped like a peace-symbol and a groovy styled cake."
"Our bride had the classic beehive hair and boots while our groom rocked a mustache and boots. It was the perfect mix of playful and groovy with a touch of whimsy!"
We are loving this two-tier retro wedding cake cutie designed by Hey There Cupcake.
Romantic retro hair from Beauty by Katie paired perfectly with makeup from Danielle Robeson.
Paper pretties and calligraphy from Spilled Ink Calligraphy truly tied in the subtle flower power theme. Love, love, love!
Hand-crafted cocktails from Rosewater Cocktail Co added a fun, celebratory vibe to this shoot. Because who isn't down for a bar cart stocked and styled to perfection with plenty of pretty liqueurs?

We're loving the disco ball addition and the textured rug choice!
This peace-sign looks like it was a labor of love! Total 70s vibes complete with peace, love, and happiness. Bravo, Hey Clementine Floral Design.
This twirl-worthy gown from D'Angelo Couture was such a lovely one.
Holy Swoon. So excited to share the pretty! Now, you'll have to excuse us because we have some serious pinning to do! Over on Pinterest that is! Care to join us?
