Modern Bohemian Vow Renewal in Joshua, Texas

What's rich and regal and bursting at the seams with romance? Say hello to today's sweet vow renewal from Sugar Creek Event Rentals and team! It's got all kinds of good stuff! A sweet couple recommitting to their love and devotion to one another, a modern ceremony backdrop with stunning light projections, and an aisle filled to the brim with dried grasses and plenty of soft candlelight.

The James Event Center, (located in Joshua, Texas), proved to be the perfect setting to bring this vow renewal to life. The design, by Sugar Creek Creative, was actually inspired by a wallpaper mural. The mural was used as inspiration for the custom backdrop created by the artist, Ruth Weatherford. 

Be on the lookout for earthy floral design by Kristen McCurdy Studio, lighting design by It's Your Night Entertainment, and a textured cake from Creme de la Creme Cake Company. Lucky for us, Vicky Godbold Photography was behind the lens to capture all of the beauty from this day.

The wedding gown from Bliss Bridal featured a deep v-neckline and a beautifully embellished skirt. Hair and makeup was so perfect thanks to MUAH - Jessica Stoughton.

Celebrating 5 years of marriage and 2 babies, this beautiful couple renewed their vows to each other with their kids by their sides for part of it. 

We love how this family invited their children into the celebration!! The kids looked so cute in their little outfits and their smiles say it all.

The ceremony aisle was anchored by hand-dyed, hand-painted dried florals in pastel rainbow hues created by Kristen McCurdy Studio.

An exquisite wedding invitation suite features torn edges, calligraphy, and beautifully textured paper. Adela Chavez really outdid themselves with this suite.


We love how this floral installation progressed in color from soft browns to soft greens and lavenders. The overall effect has a very desert feel.
 

 
 

 

 

Hand-crafted cocktails were created by HD Liquid Catering. The couple also enjoyed a champagne toast during their cake reception.
