Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, and Something Blue!

"Something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue ..." A time-honored tradition for brides on their wedding day, this shoot brings an elegantly modern twist to a timeless and classic theme.

Sitting on 20 beautiful acres of open land is the new Davis and Grey Farms Venue. A perfect location for couples who are wanting a rustic yet new urban modern atmosphere, this wedding venue is a beauty! And so what better place to shoot this sweet wedding editorial?

The concept of "Something Blue" is said to represent love, purity and fidelity; the three key qualities for a solid marriage. With this in mind, event planner Blissful Weddings & Events sought out to elevate this theme in a new and creative way.

With gorgeous captures from White Orchid Photography, this chic shoot is sure to inspire you with ideas on how to add these good luck charms to your big day!

From the team, "The venue's open windows allows for the perfect natural lighting complimenting our elegant table scape that adds to the tradition of "Something Blue."
"Using the venue's clean white space we draped a rustic farm table with grey lush linens down the runner with unique floral designs by Pretty Petals ..."
..."all while incorporating something blue at each plate setting with rentals from Posh Couture Rentals and beautifully custom watercolor invitations and menus made by Simply Schu."
Hair and makeup was styled to perfection thanks to Brite Beauty.

"Sticking with something old tradition, the bride and groom rode off in style in a vintage blue Chevy truck!"

Fruit topped cakes from Sweet Face Bakes added something sweet to the food display.

"Continuing the tradition, guests can enjoy a beautiful charcuterie bar as presented here by Board + Brie, and then cool off with a signature blue drink mixed by HD Liquid Catering."
