From the photographer, "Marissa and Ryan's wedding day was an absolute dream! They got married on the farm that Ryan grew up on, and we took all of the wedding party photos on surrounding property that they own."
From the couple: "Ryan and I were both born and raised in Big Rock. We hope to build a house and raise a family there one day, so it is where we wanted our story as a married couple to begin."
"Ryan's family recently dug the pond on their farm where our reception took place. We have spent so many days and nights fishing, grilling out, and relaxing with family and friends there. We just love this space."
"I've always loved the country rustic feel which is another reason I wanted to have our reception in Big Rock. I tend to gravitate toward pastels and greenery, so we chose a sea-foam green for the accent color and bridesmaid dresses which paired perfectly with all of the rustic signs and flowers."
"Our family friends, Sara & Brian Meyer, have an amazing eye for detail. They have helped decorate a few other weddings, so some of the decor she had already, like the silo bar that they made for their own daughter’s wedding a few years ago."
"Other items she borrowed from local friends. We honestly used so many local vendors and businesses in our area which really added to the uniqueness of our reception - Shop local!"
More from the couple, "I am still in shock at how quickly our wedding day flew by. My favorite part of our day was right after we said "I do," and we were able to finally relax a little bit with our bridal party and family. The feeling of love and support that you have on that day is such a high. I will never forget that feeling or that day. It truly was the best day of our lives!"
