Pink Styled Shoot with Blue Chinoiserie Details

We don't know about ya'll, but we think pink and blue are a classic combo. Especially when executed this beautifully as seen in this shoot photographed by Bethany McNeill Photography. Bright DeSigns by the Kane's worked the two colors so effortlessly in the stark white event space. With Shelly Sarver Designs at the floral helm, we can't find one thing gone awry with this peppy springtime shoot!

From the photographer, "The freshness of spring is stunningly expressed through the clean design and blue, pink and patterned color palette. Inspiration for the chinoiserie elements came from a fellow wedding professional and florist of 40+ years. She collects items with the Chinese-inspired pattern. The plates featured in the shoot came from her personal collection."

"The ring in the shoot, a timeless classic, was a family heirloom of the photographer."

"The blue tones and details of the design were the perfect crisp detail that backed the other design decisions considered in this inspiration wedding shoot."

"Patterned elements pulled everything together gorgeously. From the deckled edges on the invitation suite and flowered patterned signs by Noted Design, to the piece that pulled it all together: the patterned lace Noah dress from Brides By Jessa's private collection."

"Light blue chiffon ran across the table and was highlighted by loose flowers and glass candlesticks. Blue-handled silverware brought in a subtle modern touch to the classic table setting."

"The delicate blue chinoiserie details were elegantly complimented by floral arrangements by Shelly Sarver Designs. The bright pink and peach hues with overflowing greenery brought the perfect pop of color to the otherwise classic design. Each piece she created seamlessly tied the individual pieces of the shoot together."

"Shelly is well most known for her large, cascading floral bridal bouquets, which was a key element in selecting her as the florist for this shoot."

"For the bride’s dress, we wanted something classic with a modern touch. When dress-hunting, we felt the Noah dress gave the exact effect we wanted with modern cut lines and the unique lace pattern."

"We complimented this one-of-a-kind dress with a classic navy suit paired with a light blue dress shirt and light brown leather. Pattern was again a consideration when selecting the blue and navy patterned tie."

"For a more fresh, modern feel, we chose to use a floral hair comb instead of a traditional veil. The hair comb perfectly topped a romantic swept-back updo on our bride."

"The main focal point of the shoot was a rustic oak farm table paired with vintage rose pink chairs from Borrow My Vintage. Macy, owner of Borrow My Vintage, names each individual piece of furniture she rents out."

"The featured chairs happen to be named “Ken and Barbie.” Chinoiserie plates brought pattern to the table and were elegantly complemented with matching blue name-cards and belly-banded menus."

"Spring is a fresh season and for that reason we chose a very simple naked cake. The simplistic beauty was elegantly complemented with more pink floral and greenery arrangements spilling out of the drawers of the vintage buffet and topping the cake."

"Acrylic calligraphy on glass with floral-patterned backgrounds made for the perfect dessert table signage."
