Save the Date with Minted

Recently, I actually had the chance to sit down and catch up with my friends over at Minted. And goodness, what a lovely chat it was. And so today I thought it would be fun to share with you a couple of ideas that I took away from our discussion.

You see, year after year, we continue to see new trends and themes emerge and being that I'm always one to want to stay in the know with what's trending and the like, I found it to be really fun and interesting to hear what themes were inspiring the Minted Artists and Designers this season.

Want to know what's trending for Save the Dates? Well, you've come to the right place, my loves! Because I have the inside scoop!

One of the concepts that Minted is really loving right now is this idea of incorporating bold patterns as well as geometric lines and shapes into their Save the Dates.

For example, these bold save the dates are especially hot for couples who consider their style to be a bit edgy, modern, and fun-loving.

Minted is calling this theme their, "On The Edge of Love," theme, and just one look and I think you will see that there is so much beauty to be discovered in these bold and beautiful designs.

Want to know what's hot, hot, hot right now? Well, it may or may not come as a surprise to you that the popularity of non-traditional wedding venues and destination weddings is also coming out in Save the Dates, with cards that make you want to mark your calendar and pack your bags.

Also, mixed in are Save the Date designs that give background details on where the couple met, and/or cities and states that they hold near and dear to their hearts.

Minted is calling this theme their, 'The Places We’ll Go," theme. And I don't know about you, but just one look at these cute destination save the dates and I'm already inspired to start packing!

And lastly, Minted also shared with me the fact that they're really seeing a huge gravitation towards a new take on florals motifs done in this gorgeous watercolor-style esthetic.

This "Painted Petals," approach was not only hot this season, but it is sure to continue to be a front runner when it comes to save the date designs. Um, hello? Floral save the dates? Where do I sign up?
