Pantone Color of the Year: Rose Quartz and Serenity!

So you might have heard the news by now that Pantone recently chose their Color of the Year! But did you know that they actually chose two colors this time around? Say hello to Rose Quartz and Serenity, m'loves!

Pretty shades of pink and blue? Will it work? At first blush, it might seem like quite the color conundrum. But my answer? Is YES, of course! You can definitely mix these shades. Here's some ideas on how to make it work.

I love the idea of keeping things pretty neutral overall, but then adding a bit of soft color here and there. And these pretty pink bow heels are a lovely example of this.

I'm imagining bridesmaids in soft pink and groomsmen in either soft gray or maybe a very light blue suit. Simple flowers in white would look pretty and when it comes to styling, romantic delicate details would work best for these shades.

So what do you think? Are you a believer that blush and blue can work?
