Real Wedding | Tara + Spencer - Radiant Orchid

Happy Valentine's Day, lovelies. Today I'm beyond excited to bring you this gorgeous wedding that features all sorts of unique and creative eye candy. And when I say eye candy, I mean lots of sparkle. Oh, and did I mention that this wedding is full of amazing color? With a talented team of professionals including photography by Switzerfilm and event planning by Events Luxe, this sparkly soirée came to life in such a romantic and beautiful way.

The bride, Tara, made it clear from the beginning that she absolutely loved sparkle. Spencer, not one to disappoint his lady, went full force into the idea. He attended all décor meetings, he always had something to say, and he gave his beautiful bride the look she dreamed of. What a great guy. Seriously.

And so when it came to the design process, they started with putting together a color board. Ultimately, a color palette of silver (in the form of glitter and sequins), plum, and a touch of turquoise was chosen. Mirrors were used frequently in the décor to magnify the sparkle even further. You can also find sweet little hearts throughout the evening as a mini Tara and Spencer theme.

As you can see this wedding was all about the sparkle! And did you see that their signature drink was a “Sparkle Bomb?" So fun and creative! Escort cards were made into ornaments and hung from shiny silver trees while custom sequin pillows made the perfect lounge accents. And what could be sweeter than a sparkler send off at the end of their evening? Um, how fun is that?

When it comes to the design of the reception space, a custom fabric draped chandelier made the ultimate statement while the dance floor really stole the show! Made from white acrylic that could be lit from within, the dance floor truly was both chic and swanky. Oh, and it gets better! The squares that made up the dance floor were actually used to create the couples beautiful white aisle and then transformed into the dance floor where its LED lights were turned on to create the perfect party atmosphere. A beautiful ceremony backdrop was made in their colors and the aisle was adorned with fresh orchids. Oh, and did I mention that they had a Snow Cone bar? Talk about a sweet treat.

And what's best is that when Tara and Spencer arrived at the venue to see their design come to life, they were truly blown away. All the wedding professionals involved were so excited to see them witness it all come together just like they had hoped. Don't miss the video that Switzerfilm put together! It truly captured so many beautiful and heartfelt moments. Not to mention the eye candy! And Tara’s silver sparkly gown? Yeah, that Olia Zavozina gown had me at hello. Swoon.
