A Chic and Swanky Kate Spade Inspired Dinner Party

A couple of months ago I received an invitation to create and design a fun and festive styled shoot. For none other than my all time favorite designer, kate spade new york. What?! Seriously? Anyone who knows me knows that I love me some kate spade. And so when I was told that I would have the opportunity to showcase some of the gorgeous pieces from their beautiful Lenox collection, I was literally head over heels!

And so today is the day that I get to share with you all of the pretty party ideas that I came up with. It's my very first styled shoot, guys! Can you tell I'm excited? And so with a "will you be my bridesmaid?" theme in mind, I was off to the drawing board.

For my kate spade new york inspired table, I thought a feminine palette of pink and gold was just what this party needed. I mixed in some black and white stripes and a sprinkle of glitter, and I found myself somewhere in between swanky and chic. And lucky for me, the talented Lauren of Lauren Rae Photography was there to capture it all!

The kate spade new york Larabee collection instantly inspired me with it's fun, polka dot pattern. The platinum dots look so sweet on top of those shimmery, gold chargers. Don't you think? And in keeping with Kate Spade's classy yet quirky aesthetic, I decided that it was only fitting that I fold these perfectly pink dinner napkins into bow ties. How fun is that?
This pink sequin tablecloth from CandyCrushEvents really made this sparkly soiree come to life. Meanwhile, these black and white stripes instantly upped the fun factor.
I used fabric from a local store to create the runners and I tied the napkins using a coordinating ribbon. To carry the stripe theme throughout, I decided to incorporate some matching coasters and straws.
Looking for a unique and fun way to ask your best friends to stand by your side on your wedding day? Why not throw a party and pop the question? It would make for a seriously fun pre-wedding party and your friends will love the extra thought you put into making it special.
Whip up some cupcakes, and pop open the bubbly, ladies... Because it's party time! Here are just a few of the ideas that I had on how to bring this party concept to life!
Chiavari chairs? Check. Sparkly sequin table cloth? Check. A big, beautiful bouquet of blooms? Check! Pretty soon I had the makings of a seriously swanky soiree. And goodness, I was having fun!
Do you see how cute these spotted dinner plates are? So super chic, if you ask me. And definitely, a pattern that won't ever go out of style!
Looking for a festive favor idea? Why not send your besties home with mini bottles of champagne? I had a lot of fun dressing these little guys up! Are these not the cutest?
Striped and spotted bottle openers make beautiful bar cart accents! And they don't come any cuter than these!
Looking for a fun and easy way to glam up your walls? These modern sunburst pieces really add unexpected flair. Don't you think?

Seriously, aren't these just the cutest champagne flutes you ever did see? And this bottle stopper? Yeah, I'm pretty much in love with it.

So, yeah. As you can see, I had a little bit of fun with this! I popped open the champagne, I had myself a cupcake (or two), and I really did have such a good time playing with all of this pretty pink confetti!

Such a fun and festive shoot! One that I hope will inspire you to plan a special night with your besties before the big day. Because seriously, guys, there's really no such thing as too much celebrating during the months leading up to "i do!" Am I right?

And lucky for you, kate spade new york has a collection that will definitely make your parties all the more pretty! So what are you waiting for? Hop on over to kate spade new york and start planning a swanky soiree of your own!
