Remember the inspiration board contest we hosted a while back? Well, in case you need a reminder... the idea was that our readers would submit their very own inspiration board in hopes that the event professionals at The Lab Event would bring their design to life. Nothing makes my heart flutter like beautiful Spring and Summer colors. Because what's not to love? These fun-filled colors are the kind that instantly put me in a light-hearted mood. Coral, peach and shades of yellow really do make such a pretty palette, wouldn't you agree? Plus, it helps that there are so many great ways to use these colors to bring your wedding day to life!

I think what I love most about these colors is the fact they truly do give off that ''kick off your heels and dance'' sort of vibe that I so adore. Plus, I love the looks of that gorgeous wedding cake and this frilly bridesmaid dresses! Talk about fun and flirty! Such a vibrant palette! And definitely one that you don't see often at weddings. Happy Friday, friends! I hope you all have had a fabulously productive week. How is the wedding planning coming along? Good, I hope! Gosh, I feel like I was just planning my wedding. Time flies when you're having fun. Today I was inspired to put together this rustic little number including shades of brown and a touch of mustard. This is the sort of color palette that I would love to see used in a late Summer wedding or even Autumn wedding. There's an earthiness to it that is so full of texture and rustic goodness. Ever find yourself drawing color inspiration from the most unlikeliest of sources? I don't know about you, but I happen to do this quite often. Because honestly... everywhere you look there is color inspiration to be found. Today I just so happened to find color inspiration in these darling little cupcakes! mmmmm, don't they just look delish? I have to admit that these are feeding both my sweet tooth and my color obsession.

It's the sort of color that I'm predicting we're going to be seeing a lot more this year for weddings and definitely the sort of color that is full of pretty possibilities. Today I thought I'd put together a palette that would not only look pretty for a Spring wedding, but also one that you could definitely use for a bridal shower. I don't know about you, but I'm all about bright and bold colors. Pair that with a fun theme like poppies and you've got yourself a truly eye-catching theme.
