{Pantone's Color of the Year}: Tangerine Tango!

Have you heard the news? Pantone recently announced that Tangerine Tango is their color of the year for 2012! A lot of you have asked me what I think of Pantone's choice? Do I like it? Would I have chosen a different color? What are my thoughts on this, you ask?
Well, here are my thoughts. While I have to admit that I feel it was a bold choice, there's clearly nothing wrong with bold. I happen to love vibrant, lively color. It's a color with beautiful red and peach undertones! One that is simply bursting with fun !
I think it's a color that puts most people out of their comfort zones. However, again I don't think that's a bad thing. Adding a pop of bright color is a great way to express yourself. Especially in weddings. And so today I thought I'd put together a pretty palette using the newest color of the year. As you might have noticed, this palette actually incorporates varying shades of orange as well as touch of Tangerine Tango mostly seen in the bridesmaid dresses and florals.
So what do you think of Pantone's Color of the Year? I suppose the answer to that question lies in whether you are a fan of the color orange and all of it's variations. Being an orange bride myself, I can't help but love this. I like this color because I feel like there's a lot of ways you can use it. Why not spice things up your wedding a bit by adding in a dash of this unexpected and punchy hue? Want to know which color I would name as this year's color of the year? Stay tuned because I'm going to be unveiling my own little color of the year as well as what I feel are the top 10 colors for Spring 2012!
