{A Sparkly Soiree}: Copper, Antique Gold, Gray, Silver + White

{Copper, Antique Gold, Gray, Silver + White}

What's better than one sparkly inspiration board? Two sparkly inspiration boards of course! I have to admit, I did not intend to create two boards, but in the interest of having so many sparkly ideas to choose from... I thought, why not create two? Metallics are truly colors that I've long loved for weddings, but they're also amazing colors to use during the holidays! Maybe it's the magical feel they exude that I love, or maybe it's because I just like things that shimmer and sparkle... Whatever it is, one thing is for sure. I LOVE these colors! I like how this first board took on a holiday sort of feeling with the gold ornaments and the champagne. Oh, and I can't go without mentioning this fun party dress and that stunning gold cake!

And this second board... although incredibly similar in feeling... has such a sophisticated vibe. Does it not? The metallic quality of these colors are both reflective and almost glittery. I think both of these would make for a seriously pretty holiday party. What do you think? How do you feel about these sparkly kind of colors? Are you more inclined to use colors like these in your home and in your wardrobe during the holidays?

{Holiday Color Palettes}: What's Your Favorite?

Holiday color palettes really are some of my favorites. And as we get closer and closer to December, I'm starting to think about them a lot here lately. Whether you're a traditionalist and love your deep green paired with classic red, or whether you're a little more modern in your decorating with colors like shades of blue or even metallics like copper, silver and gold... One thing is for sure, everyone has their own idea of what colors put them into the holiday spirit.

I personally love the palette above because it puts a new spin on the classic red and green palette by using a cool shade of mint. Plus, who doesn't love the idea of sipping cocoa on a chilly winter day?

Another color palette that's really fun for the holidays is this one! Why not mix shades of blue and green with a deep shade of cranberry red? I love how fun and playful this palette feels.

Metallics like gold and silver always have a way of looking magical during the season. But why not add a touch of red and maybe even a touch of black? I love this palette because it's subtle and yet so sophisticated.

And isn't this a great palette? I personally can't keep my eyes off of those egg nog cupcakes. YES, I said egg nog! Sounds fabulous, right? Oh, and these colors are pretty fun too! Are they not?

Want a winter palette that's a little more unique? Why not mix cranberry with shades of gray and plum? I'm loving how cozy and warm this one feels.

Now, this palette I think would look absolutely loving for a holiday dinner party or even a wedding! Chartreuse mixed with shades of green, silver and black really is quite stunning. Plus, who doesn't love a pretty package?

This palette of turquoise, shades of green and silver really is one of my all time favorites for Winter. What's not to love? Can't you imagine this being absolutely gorgeous for a snowy wedding day? Not engaged? Why not decorate your tree in these colors?

And yet, there is still something so beautiful about classic holiday colors like these. These colors make me think of family. And what's more comforting than that? Cozy, charming and absolutely festive, these are the colors that I love most this time of year. What colors do you like to decorate with during the holidays? And if you celebrate Christmas, how do you feel about white lights vs. colored lights on your tree? I'd love to hear how you like to use color during Winter?

{Autumn Day}: A Palette of Cranberry, Black, Latte, Mustard + Gray

{Cranberry, Black, Latte, Mustard + Gray}

Happy Monday, color lovers! Did everyone enjoy your weekend? I don't know about you, but I found it so nice to take some time off. It was a weekend full of family, fall traditions and food! I also took some time to reflect back on this year and think of all the things that I have to be thankful for. I really do feel as if I have a lot to be thankful for and that in and of itself is an amazing feeling. Today, I thought it would be nice to really embrace Fall. One last time before we move into the Winter wedding palettes that I have lined up for you. I don't know about you, but I'm seriously smitten with the idea of an Autumn picnic. Because what's not to love? {continued...}

Personally, I love to accent bright, bold colors with pops of black. I do so in my own home decor quite a bit. So why not use this kind of color palette for your wedding? I say, 'go for it.' Using black in this way makes such a statement and there is really something to be said about how a gorgeous Fall bouquet contrasts against black bridesmaids dresses. Want to create even more of a Fall vibe for your wedding? Why not ak your bridesmaids to wear chunky sweaters? So cozy and absolutely charming, if you ask me. I heart Fall weddings.

{Happy Thankgiving}: I'm thankful!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I don't know about you, but today is a day that I look forward to all year long. Because what's not to love about Thanksgiving? It's a day to count your blessings, be thankful and most of all it's a day to spend quality time with those you love. Oh, and not to mention the food :) This year, I'm thankful for my loving family, my health and our precious little boy. He really has been the biggest blessing and he's a joy.

So tell me... what are you most thankful for this Thanksgiving? I want to hear all about it. Are you thankful for your job? Are you thankful for a new friendship? Are you thankful for an opportunity that's recently come into your life? There's so much to be grateful for. Sometimes I wake up and pinch myself because I feel like I have it all. And while I definitely don't have it all, I sure feel that way. Because I have what matters in life! A loving marriage, a supportive family, a little boy who makes me smile daily and a career that I'm wildly passionate about. I really am blessed. So here's to you and yours this holiday! Hope everyone has a great holiday!

{Little Winter Bride}: Shades of Gray + White

{Shades of Gray + White}

Imagine a landscape blanketed in snow, an old covered bridge and a wedding full of all kinds of beautiful winter pretties. When it comes to Winter weddings, there's nothing more romantic than a snowy day. I'm loving how cozy this feels. Mittens, milk glass and marshmallows, oh my! For me, a Winter wedding has a certain magical feeling to it that is not easily duplicated in any other season... Perhaps that's because for me Winter is one of the most magical times of the year. Families getting together, celebrations, toasting the new year. So why not embrace the season and use it for inspiration? {continued...}
