Chartreuse has long been a favorite color of mine. I guess you could say it's always been one of my ''go-to'' colors for so many things. Why has it always been a favorite of mine, you ask? Well, to me chartreuse is just a color you don't see all of the time. It's bright and vibrant and definitely has a very celebratory feeling associated with it. Plus I just think it is a wonderful color that is often overlooked when it comes to events and weddings. I love this color for Spring or Summer, but I definitely can see this palette looking fabulous for Fall too...

For some reason work blocks your photos and I get so upset! I'm planning a wedding and I'm actually having a hard time finding a palette I love. My venue is is old and classic with chandeliers and marble floors. My bridesmaids dresses are champagne - sounds easy right? But I HATE red. And its in the fall and I really don't like fall colors. I'm thinking wine? Or a dark teal? I don't know! Any suggestions??

I think the colors with gray are stunning. Gray seems to be picking up this year, it was never popular before, maybe silver. Did you see the article on ,what your wedding colors say about you? I think gray was cool, for calming.

The walls in my last living room were chartreuse. I adore it. Without fail, every single person who entered that room and did a double take, was sold by the time they left. I had so many people ask to let them know when I left that apartment... I would do a gray and chartreuse wedding in a heartbeat. I think it is one of the few schemes that say "sophisticated" and "fun" at the same time. I think gray and yellow are a bit done, and this is a great alternative.
