{Sail Away With Me}: A Palette of Navy Blue + White

{Navy Blue + White}
Nothing makes me feel more alive than being on the water - and that's why {just between you and me} I'm getting very excited about my upcoming beach trip. I have to admit, I even have a countdown. As a wedding theme, I've always loved the idea of a nautical theme. Because what's not to love? Navy blue is such a classy color and when paired with stripes and subtle nautical details, something really special happens. I love how clean this feels. Although I mostly imagine this theme looking lovely in a yacht club setting due to all the preppy details, there are plenty of other nautical locales that would work well with this theme. {continued...}

Plus who isn't loving the idea of a send off by sea? I just so happen to think that that's one of the most romantic ways to say farewell to your guests and start your life together as husband and wife. So tell me, is anyone else a fan of this navy blue + white palette? It's definitely one of my all time favorite palettes.

The water is my favorite place of tranquility and as you know, blue is my favorite color for that reason. So, this was the perfect color palette for me. I'm actually designing a tablescape for a photo shoot that will be centered around the color blue, but not with these details. I loved this, but that goes without saying! ;-)
Simple and so elegant, this is the true definition of a modern wedding. I love it. xo
