{Wedding Food + Drink Round Up}: And Palettes to Coordinate!

{Wedding Food + Drink Presentation with Palettes to Coordinate!}

Okay, get ready for a lengthy post! Fortunately for us, there are many ways you can use color to bring your wedding to life. So many that I had a hard time choosing which ones to share! One of the ways is through your wedding food and drink presentation. Looking back at my own wedding I'm so glad that I took the time to incorporate my color palette into all of the details including the food and drink presentation.

Besides choosing a signature drink, one of the things we did was to set up a popcorn bar for a late night snack. We gave our guests a few options when it came to flavors, but moreover I made sure to create an engaging display that showcased our colors. I created special popcorn bags that included our names, our wedding date and the quote 'Love is sharing your popcorn' which my guests thought were so fun!

Our popcorn bar was a huge hit at our wedding and created a really interactive + fun place for my guests to get up and mingle. Being an admitted foodie myself, I can't tell you how much I L-O-V-E it when I see brides putting extra through into their wedding food + drink presentation.

And it doesn't take a lot to make a huge statement. I'm seriously smitten with these cute little drink stirrers! Oh, and check out this adorable serving tray! Such a fun and playful presentation. And so easy too!

And wouldn't this lemon thyme sorbet be the perfect treat for a Spring or Summer wedding? So refreshing looking. And what a simple and sweet presentation this is.

I don't know about you, but when it comes to displaying tarts, I can't think of a sweeter way to display these than on a color coordinating cake stand.

At a loss for ideas when it comes to getting creative with your presentation? I love this idea from Martha Stewart! Miniature baguettes double as seat assignments. How sweet and completely original!

Patron anyone? I seriously can't think of a more creative idea. I'd love to see this at a wedding! Such a fun idea and definitely one your guests probably haven't seen before.

Believe me, your guests will notice the extra thought you put into your presentation. I love the idea of concocting a specialty drink like this cherry berry plum water and serving it up in old fashioned mason jars.

See how easy it is to incorporate your colors? If you're having a blue wedding, why not top your desserts with blueberries? This, to me, looks like the perfect treat for a Winter wedding.

Getting married in Napa Valley? Why not serve specialty cheeses with your wine? I love the looks of this cheese display and how it coordinates so effortlessly with this yellow palette.

Oh, and doesn't this sparkling strawberry lemonade look absolutely refreshing?

Want to serve up a tasty treat that is seriously charming? Why not serve frozen s'mores parfait?

Oh, and check out this fun + functional idea! Caramel coffee warmers! At your reception, offer caramel wafers to rest across the top of the cup -- the coffee will stay warm and the caramel will soften, turning the wafer into a sweet gooey treat.

I don't know about you, but I'm loving the looks of these cinnamon orange molasses cookies! The silhouettes shape is so unique and this presentation feels so cozy to me.

Berries in a basket is such a simple and sweet idea. Plus it just so happens to coordinate lovely with this palette of purples and blues!

Who else is loving the idea of this Fall treat? At a cocktail hour, pass candy cups of sweet and savory roasted nuts for a delicious, no-fuss treat. Each paper bowl holds just the right snack-size amount.

Going for a sophisticated black and white wedding? Not sure how to incorporate your colors into food? Why not consider incorporating your monogram onto a cookie? Definitely a modern presentation that is full of sophistication.

For Summer weddings, I can't say enough about these lemon flavored cupcakes. Aren't they simply the most adorable cupcakes ever?

So there you have it. My favorite ideas for wedding food + drink presentations! I told you I had a long post for you! I hope you can now see how easy it is to use food and drink as an opportunity to incorporate your color palette? To be honest, besides the cake tasting, one of my favorite things to do was to work on the food + drink menu! I guess I just love food that much. So tell me, are you planning to get creative when it comes to your wedding food? Have an idea that you can't wait to share with your caterer? I'd love to hear all about it!
