Nothing says summer like shades of yellow and orange. This palette is a cheery one that simply makes me feel happy! I can't help but smile when I see shades like these. The perfect palette for any bride who's trying to convey that "lets kick our shoes off and dance" kinda vibe...oranges and yellows really do have a way of radiating that special energy. For Lainey , my goal was to do just that...to create a palette that would be perfect for a casual summer wedding. One that would leave a lasting impression with her guests. One that would convey excitement and fun! So here you have it! In my design, groomsmen wore tangerine polka dotted ties. Aren't those just charming? {continued...}

Lovely Bride + Orange Floats!

What I love most about this palette is that it's super easy to pull together. When you use shades of colors it's easy because you don't have to have every little thing match. I'm also in love with the simplicity of this design. I can imagine guests sipping on old fashioned orange floats complete with paper straws, paper lanterns strung from the ceiling and a delicious dessert display that includes lots of light and airy sweet treats. Seems quite dreamy to me. What does your dream wedding entail? Do tell!
