{Splash Into Summer!}: Orange, Peach, Gold, Chartreuse, Light Green + White

{Orange, Peach, Gold, Chartreuse, Light Green + White}
Always on the search for the fun and fabulous...that's me. Because seriously, who doesn't love a dose of fun color? Today's palette is brought to us by request by bride-to-be, Katie, from Georgia. Katie recently wrote to me and told me all about her upcoming destination wedding. She shared with me all kinds of planning details including the fact that she wanted a color palette that was a tad unique, not something you see everyday and something that would feel lively and celebratory. So off to the drawing board I went...And here you have it. A palette that blends shades of orange, yellow and green in a way that is simply fun and exciting. Are you liking the sounds of this palette? I think that with the right location, like a tropical destination wedding, bright + bold palettes like these can be seriously fun. {continued...}

Personally, I love these colors, but for whatever reason, it's not until I truly explore their potential that I realize how nice they can be together. Isn't that the way it is with a lot of things in life though? You see a dress on the rack and although it may not be "you"...something tells you to try it on. You listen to the little voice in your head. And then bamn! Something happens. The 'i'll just try this dress on to see how it looks' dress becomes your 'all.time.favorite.dress.' It's that way with wedding color palettes too, I think. Colors palettes have a way of surprising me every day. So my point is...that you should try to see the potential in all kinds of color palettes because it's typically with those unexpected palettes that you discover a true uniqueness and beauty.
