Lately I've really been loving the color navy blue. Especially when paired with the color yellow. For this wedding, I wanted to bring to life the idea of a wedding by the sea, one that spoke to sort of a preppy nautical theme. I imagined this wedding & reception would take place on the beach. Fun patterns of stripes and polka dots really make this look pop while creative table settings & bright bold color really make this wedding stand out as unique.

I absolutely love the idea of incorporating subtle nautical symbolism and who doesn't love the looks of that charming little seaside chapel? As the wedding came to an end, the couple took to the sea on a sailboat that had a sign that read "and they lived happily ever after"

When trying to figure out the perfect palette for her wedding, Alaina had just one request... That the main color be chartreuse! She wrote to me about her plans, her love for the color and most importantly the way she wanted her wedding to look and feel! She told me she wanted her personality to shine through and that she wanted the overall wedding to feel sweet, quaint and fun all at the same time! So off to the drawing board I went..and here you have it... a palette of chartreuse, chocolate brown, and ivory! I don't know about you, but I just love how these colors play off of one another. Plus, who doesn't love polka dots? It's fun patterns like these that will make your wedding stand out as unique. Summer who said...I'm newly engaged :) My colors for my wedding are simply sage green with black accents. The accessory I would pick would be the Well Wisher Vase! Today's palette is all about breaking out of the box and not being afraid to use those bold and vibrant colors! For this wedding, I wanted to create a color palette that would work perfectly for a bride who invisioned a unique and modern look for her wedding day. In her emails to me she spoke about how excited she was to gather her friends and family and how she so looked forward to creating an outdoor space that had both a tropical and sort of a safari feel. A romantic soft palette was not what she was hoping for. She spoke about wanting to see things pop! So off to the drawing board I went... and here you have it! Details I'm loving from this board include tableware by SocialCouture which incorporates some fun & modern colors & patterns. And I'm also really loving those headbands by Dessy! Oh, and who said paper plates can't look nice at an outdoor wedding? Yep, those are paper! So how are you feeling about this lovely look? I have to admit, I L-O-V-E it. {Happy 4th of July}: A Palette of Red, White & Blue

Happy 4th of July weekend! I hope you all enjoy these red, white & blue inspiration boards that I put together! I don't know about you, but these colors instantly get me feeling patriotic! These images stir up such warm and fuzzy memories for me. What's not to love about the 4th of July? I just love grilling out with friends and family...and then making our way to the town square to see the parade. And then when night falls... taking in all of the colors from the fireworks display. It's definitely one of my favorite holidays!
