{Happy 4th of July}: A Palette of Red, White & Blue

July 2, 2010

{Red & Blue}

Happy 4th of July weekend! I hope you all enjoy these red, white & blue inspiration boards that I put together! I don't know about you, but these colors instantly get me feeling patriotic! These images stir up such warm and fuzzy memories for me. What's not to love about the 4th of July? I just love grilling out with friends and family...and then making our way to the town square to see the parade. And then when night falls... taking in all of the colors from the fireworks display. It's definitely one of my favorite holidays!

I hope you all have a great & safe 4th of July weekend and that you find something fun to get into!

Oh so cute!!
I just recently found your blog & have gone through your archives. I love all your inspirations! You are a color genius.

I couldn't find a board in my colors.... so I was wondering - Do you take requests?
I'd love to see your take on my colors and somewhat theme that I have.
It's a winter wedding - Jan of 2011. The colors are cobalt & royal purple - think jewel tones. Here is my dress:

if you click on the color tab you can see it with the cobalt back.
I don't have a real theme, but I'm going to run with the winter part I think.

Anyway ... I'd greatly appreciate it if you do take requests!! :)

Alright, I'm going to jump on board here too! I've also looked through all the palettes and can't seem to find one that quite fits our ideas. We're going with a slate or navy blue, a brighter sage green, and yellow gold. This is for a September 2011 wedding and we're running with kind of a natural theme. Centerpieces will be moss with mason jars and tea candles.

I had originally started with your mountain color palette, but the fiance nixed a couple colors and added in the blue, so now I'm feeling a little lost.

If you feel inspired to take this on I would greatly appreciate it!!!

I love your inspiration boards. These colors all seem to come alive around this time of year. There seems to be such an endless stream of ideas.

I love these inspiration boards, but I especially love the bridesmaids with the striped dresses. They looked so cute next to the bride!

It would have been awesome to get married on the 4th of July! Double celebration indeed. I was just looking around blogs for good card making ideas then I stumble upon this blog and I think I'm getting good insights for my own wedding. Thanks!
