Captured beautifully by Trenholm Photography — today's creative party design by Anna Lucia Events comes to us straight from the sunny state of Florida. Kaleidoscope Floral did an over-the-top gorgeous job with this floral design and this event space at The Orlo proved to be the perfect spot to bring this colorful celebration to life.
To set the tone for this festive fete, stationery with custom watercolor work was created by Design House of Moira. Event Effects Group provided the furniture, draping and lighting. And wow! What an impact it all made! To complete the look, linens were selected from Nuage Designs, with runners by BBJ Linens and custom napkins from The French Table.
Tabletop details including glassware, chargers, china, and flatware all came from Different Look. And the entertainment for the night included a violinist from New Sense Productions.
So bright, so cheery, so absolutely exquisite! We're so obsessed with these floral adorned taper candles. And wow! Those coral charm peonies are beyond perfect!
The place settings were so full of color! And what's not to love about the way that this design team incorporated floral motifs?
All the heart eyes! House of Moira made magic happen with this handcrafted invitation.
From the team," Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay once explained that his song, “Yellow” refers to the mood of the band. “Brightness and hope and devotion.”
"And so when a dear client connected with us to design, plan, and execute a birthday celebration for his amazing wife’s birthday, we began the experience by sitting down with him and asking him to tell us how he saw her and what he envisioned, rather than talking to her directly.
"He wanted to show his gratitude for her devotion to their family and especially to him, through years of political involvement, business development, and building a family."
"She supported and lifted him up through all of his accolades and pushed him to the next set of goals while enriching his life spiritually, physically, and emotionally.
"So the evening was about expressing his gratitude and honoring her. Amidst discussing her favorite flowers, personal style, and the guest list, he brought up her love of the color yellow.
"That set off so much of the inspiration, especially when aligned with the June event date, and the intimate, garden atmosphere he was looking for."
"Working with
Design House of Moira's Victoria Rothwell solidified the event aesthetic. The moment she sent over the custom watercolor print she created based off the concept and color palette, I used it as a center point to build an intimate summer dinner party atmosphere."
"We live in Tampa and June weather can be brutal so we brought the outdoors into the air conditioned indoors but didn’t allow it to stop the vibe. The venue we chose is a historical home in South Tampa that has been restored and revitalized as a venue."
"Cocktail hour took place inside the house, where we’d replaced some of the artwork with photos of the birthday girl, while servers awaited with her favorite cocktail."
"Dinner progressed in the ballroom and then the crowd returned to the house for a good old fashioned dance party in the living room, complete with birthday cake naturally."
"As dinner progressed, DJ EM-V serenaded everyone with electric violin and completed the picture. Such an incredible night for an absolutely amazing woman."
