'Be My Valentine!' Wedding Ideas from the Heart

Here recently a dream team of wedding pros from the heart of Texas came together to create the prettiest styled shoot which incorporated the loveliest and most subtle Valentine's Day theme.

Together Beautiful Event Rentals, Blushington Blooms, and Connor Wade Photography, worked with such passion to plan, design and style this love-filled editorial. And lucky for us Connor Wade Photography was there to capture every pretty second of it.

From the design team, "We set out to create a romantic feeling, blending modern and vintage, inspired by the sentimental vibes of the season."

Nestled just east of Dallas, all was bathed in the softest and most beautiful natural light of the stunning The White Sparrow Barn. And seriously? Just one look and I think you'll agree that this truly is the stuff that wedding dreams are made of! 


This vintage venue finds it's beauty in being washed in white and flooded with ethereal light from the second story casement windows.

The gorgeous florals by Blushington Blooms featured vibrant red roses and ranunculus, plum dahlias, white O’Hara garden roses, anemones, and a combination of winter foliages. 

...meanwhile the semi-naked red velvet cake was dressed in vivid florals and berries resting on a white marble cake stand.  The bridal bouquet, in all of it's gorgeous glory, integrated a stylish garden feel with navy privet berries and hints of fresh lavender.  A sophisticated feel was brought to the place settings by incorporating gold hammered flatware and gorgeous gold edged chargers. 

Make no mistake about it, this bridal bouquet is oh-so amazing!  And I just love who the bride’s hair was loosely swept up in dreamy waves giving full view of the gown’s elegant neckline.  And the lace on this gown? Be still my heart... The Berta long sleeve lace gown brings a classic and timeless tone to the bride... Meanwhile, a certain charm shined boldly through with details which feature hand calligraphy which you'll see on the gold trimmed menus, name cards, and table numbers... Christian Louboutin’s “Barbara”stiletto heel brought an unexpected pop of bright red color to the bride’s wedding apparel. And then, can we just talk about how gorgeous these table numbers are? The prettiest pops of red were brought to life by the way of food and florals... And I just love how bright and vivid it all was...   And these red velvet cupcakes? Looking so absolutely delish from here, you guys!   Plus who isn't loving this two tiered naked cake? So much to love about the detailing on this gown...

 

Details were plentiful and so absolutely pin-worthy, if you ask me! And this stationery by Eliza Co Designs? Such an absolute standout! This gown is the perfect mix of sexy and sophisticated...   And this gorgeous capture?! Wow, I'm seriously blown away by the pretty... Jars were filled with Texas apple pie and paired with white chocolate macarons...

But these florals though? I'm not going to lie, if I could I would totally just live in this shoot for a while! It's just that this is all so absolutely gorgeous and the inspiration is off the charts not to mention the fact that if you've been following me over on Instagram then you'll probably already know that I have a serious soft spot in my heart for The White Sparrow Barn!

What an amazing venue and the perfect spot to say, "I do!" So truly in love with every bit of this and it's exciting to see a Valentine's Day wedding theme brought to life in such an exquisite (and non-cheesy) way. Lots of love to the entire team of wedding pros behind this beauty of a shoot!
