Setting Your Table for the Holidays: 8 Styling Essentials

So, you've taken the plunge: you're planning a holiday party. Congratulations! But now you've started to panic a little. You want it to feel festive, but maybe you lack vision? Or maybe you need a little help getting started? Not to fret, I'm here to help!

First off, the easiest way to make a statement is with your tablecloth! A plaid table cloth like this one is a lovely choice that your guests are sure to appreciate! Next,  you'll want to put some thought into your centerpieces! Fresh flowers are always a nice touch. But you can also get creative and mix in some non-floral elements. For example, candlelight is always nice. Or why not create a centerpiece using things like ornaments?

To get this look, use white blooms to create multiple arrangements in clear glass vases. As you can see here, a larger centerpiece was used for the center of the table. Looking for an easy and fun DIY idea? I suggest filling glass cake stands like these with a mix of gold and silver ornaments for a fun and festive look.

Looking to add a pop of color to your tables? Don't forget the napkins and chargers! Adding a bit of color to your tables really does make all the difference. In addition, don't forget about layering! While chargers aren't a must, they definitely make a statement! I personally love the look of metallic chargers like these! And the layering effect really does make a beautiful statement.

Oh, and I can't go without mentioning my love for party favors! And while I admit that it's totally not necessary, it definitely makes for a special touch and one that is sure to be memorable! For the holidays, I love the idea of placing a personalized holiday ornament at each place setting. That way your guests will each leave the party with a little momento that'll sure to put a smile on their face every time they go to decorate their Christmas tree.

Love the look above and want to recreate for yourself? As you can see above, I've broken down all of the elements so you can easily shop and style!

Happy Holidays!
