New Year's Eve Soiree

December 27, 2013
A sparkly soiree at a swanky New York City loft? Sounds like a pretty spectacular way to ring in the new year to me. I don't know about you, but for me New Year's eve has always held a special place in my heart. Maybe it's the promise of a new beginning or perhaps I just love it because it gives me a great excuse to slip into my fanciest of dresses. Not to mention, it's the one night of the year that the more glitzy you look, the better! Did I mention I like sparkles?

So I suppose it goes without saying that I love to ring in the New Year. It's a time to reflect, a time to celebrate and a time toast to the year ahead! And as I mentioned before, it's a time to get all dolled up. Can we all just take a look at this dress? Black tulle with sparkles galore never looked so glamorous. Am I right? And these vintage inspired clocks? Such a charming way to dress up your tables this New Year's eve. Looking for a cute idea for your upcoming soiree? I don't think you can go wrong with individual champagne bottles on ice (and a straw). Best. idea. ever. So tell me... what are you guys planning on doing this New Year's Eve? Any exciting plans?

I have nothing against your concepts and styles. They actually look great. I know that some people like black but I just cant's help myself from hating that color :)

LOVE this! John and I have a late reservation at our favorite little French bistro–we can't wait to see what's on the menu for Tuesday night!

It has been way too long since I got glammed up for New Year's Eve; I would love to wear exactly that kind of fun flouncy gown! Hope you have a wonderful NYE!
