6 Wedding Styling Tips | Gorgeous in Green

1: LESS IS ALWAYS MORE
To me, this palette is all about channeling nature and communicating an earthy elegance. And so what better way to do this than by remembering that there is beauty in simplicity. An example of this to me, is this gorgeous leafy halo. So simple, so sophisticated.

2: TO COMMUNICATE COLOR, KEEP FLORAL DESIGN SIMPLE
In keeping with the idea of simplicity, I think it's really important to remember to keep your floral design as uncomplicated as possible. These white blooms look gorgeous and the simple greenery peeking through adds a perfect contrast. Just imagine how they'd pop against green bridesmaid dresses!

3: DRESS BRIDESMAIDS IN VARYING SHADES
Speaking of bridesmaid dresses...I'm a total fan of the idea where you choose to dress your bridesmaids in varying shades of one color. Opt to keep the dress style the same or switch that up as well. The choice is up to you! I will recommend, however, that you keep the dress length the same.

4: REPETITION HELPS ''BRAND'' YOUR WEDDING
When it comes to styling your wedding, one thing you can do to create a polished look is to repeat a motif throughout your day. For instance, here we have these sweet silhouettes printed on programs. Why not have that same motif printed on other elements like favor tags, save the dates or even your wedding invitations?

5: GO SOFT WITH SOME ELEMENTS
I love this cake because it has a very loose and slightly messy texture. But at the same time, it's tied together with these perfect little succulents. Overall, the cake has a very soft feel. This is mostly due in part to the natural color of succulents and how they come across as sort of muted. Remember that it's good to have varying intensity in the color you use. And it's actually nice to give the eye a visual "break" at times.

6: GO BRIGHT WITH OTHERS
In contrast, these bright and vibrant heels are the perfect example of "going bright." As I previously mentioned, not every aspect of your day should be the same color intensity. Some elements should be soft, whereas others should pop! This balance between light and dark is what really adds character and visual interest!

So there you have it! 6 simple styling tips to take your wedding day from drab to fab. Follow these and you're sure to discover a look that's perfect for you! So tell me... might you use gorgeous greens like these for your upcoming wedding, party or project? I'd love to hear all about it in the comments!
