Happy Tuesday, everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend and if you're in the U.S. like I am, I hope you had a fun 4th of July! I don't know about what the weather is like where you are, but where I am here in Georgia, is hot, hot, hot! And so when it came time to decide what colors I wanted to talk about today, I really could not think of a color palette that expressed the way I was feeling more so than this one. Aqua, orange and white are the perfect vacation colors. And although I'm not exactly on vacation, I sort of am in a vacation state of mind if that make sense. I actually have a beach vacation coming here soon and I can't tell you how excited I am. When it comes to choosing your wedding colors, why not pick colors that make you the happiest? {continued...}

Orange and aqua seem to just go hand and hand. Especially when you're thinking of trying to convey an island vibe for your wedding. Want your guest to feel like they've taken a vacation by attending your wedding? Aqua distinctly symbolizes the ocean while orange is symbolic of the bright sun. Put them together and what do you have? A gorgeous wedding full of all the things that a good vacation are made of.
I first shared this color palette with you back in July of 2010, here. And to my surprise, you all seemed to really love this palette! I especially love it because it has a way of feeling beachy, tropical + fun all at the same time. Perfect for a destination wedding, this palette truly makes me feel like I've gone somewhere special... Even if I'm simply sitting at home.
