{Sponsored Post}: Introducing Lasso'd Moon Designs!

August 31, 2009

{Slate Blue, Latte & Chocolate Brown}

This palette of slate blue, latte & chocolate was actually inspired by our newest sponsor! Lasso'd Moon Designs! And what better way to introduce them but to put an inspiration board together that highlights some of their work. After seeing their Bluebirds of Happiness design I just fell in love with it! So with that in mind, I put this together! I invisioned an outdoor ceremony that had a subtle bird theme. Check out that gorgeous feather bouquet! Can you imagine all of the fun ways you can use feathers in your wedding? Like those boutineers! Aren't those great?Completely unique & 100 % nature inspired!

Lovebirds Design by Lasso'd Moon Designs

With the ladies in chocolate brown & the guys sporting khakis with blue shirts & ties this bridal party was picture picture! To coordinate, I chose another Lasso'd moon design. Brown toile really does make a statement. I can imagine that motif being perfect for programs or menus. Lasso'd Moon Designs specializes in unique, custom designed invitations. Looking for a wedding invitiation that will WOW your guests? Something unique and completely custom designed just for you? I invite you to check them out! {A Sweet Summer Wedding}: Blush Pink & Black

August 27, 2009

{Blush & Black}

Nothing thrills me more than helping a bride who is in distress about her wedding color palette. This bride-to-be knew one thing & that's that she wanted to use a blush pink as her primary color. Stressed as to what to pair it with... I explained that perhaps she should pair it with the obvious color. Classic black. I mean how could you go wrong? {continued...}

{Latte, Shades of Yellow + Antique Gold}

Happy Monday everyone! In case anyone out there has a case of the Monday's... I thought I would put together some inspiration in this bright and cheery color palette! I'm not sure about you.. but yellow always seems to have a way of making me smile. And I just have to say that I'm loving this combination. For this wedding, I pictured the ladies in bright yellow gowns and the gentlemen in light brown suits. A quaint and charming get together of your closest friends and family. {continued...}

{A Rustic Dockside Ceremony}: Navy Blue & Chocolate Brown

August 21, 2009

{Navy Blue & Chocolate Brown}

A small dockside ceremony followed by a no frills down to earth reception in an old rustic barn. Sounds like the makings of a very special wedding doesn't it? This palette of navy blue and chocolate brown really is something special. And to think it all started with the beautiful blue china pattern. I think there is really something great about pairing a rustic locale with items that feel sort of vintage. Oh and who wouldn't want to stay in a rustic log cabin on their first night as husband and wife?

The Blushing Bride

Comfy and cozy is how I feel when I see these colors together. And what's best is that this palette is really easy to coordinate! Ladies were dressed in navy blue halter gowns while groomsmen were dressed to coordinate in chocolate brown tuxedos. For dessert I imagine chocolate cupcakes with blueberries on top!

{Late Summer Wedding}: Celery, Orange & Peach

August 20, 2009

{Celery, Shades of Orange & Peach}

This board looks alot like yesterday's board now doesn't it? This was actually not intentional. I set out to create a Fall board with more of a rustic feel but ultimately this board just took on a life of its own. Sometimes that happens and when it does I try not to fight it! In any case, I found myself putting together a palette that has more of a summer feel to it. Maybe I'm realizing that the Summer is almost over? {continued...}
