Talk about a breath of fresh air! I'm absolutely loving this color combination! What's not to love? It's really light & perfect for communicating a laid back & casual vibe. This color palette really is special! And just look at all of the fun ways you can infuse these colors into your wedding day. The possibilities are endless. If I was having a summer wedding...I'd definitely consider these colors!

Can you tell that I'm slightly obsessed with the color yellow? Yep, it's true. Okay perhaps its more than slightly obsessed. The truth is that I absolutely love yellow. It's so loud and in your face. Yellow is the color the makes me the happiest. And I just love all of the fun ways you can infuse yellow into your big day. That's why when I got the request to work with this gorgeous color palette I could not wait to get to it. Ladies wore a marigold hue which featured a fun neckline. {continued...}

Yellow Dress & Yummy Appetizers

The bouquets that I incorporated into this board have to be one of the prettiest I've seen. I just love the soft feel of the composition. And don't you just love that chapel! I love the way its all lit up! For their reception, I incorporated a fun picnic inspired space. The yellow gingham picnic blanket is one of my favorite details. And check out that bonfire! Talk about a fun way to celebrate! Guests left this wedding with bottles of old fashioned coca cola.

Goodies! {Rebecca Thuss} + Chocolate Dresses! image by {The Knot}
In my design, ladies wore chocolate brown chiffon gowns and carried bouquets of ivory blooms. I just love how the use of just one flower in bouquets makes for such a bold statement. To coordinate, the bride wore a single flower in her hair. This came across as both unique and romantic! The most special part of this board very well might be the lovely wooden structure that the two married beneathe! I just love the rustic simple feel that this has! Guests left this with specialty cupcakes & with memories that would last a lifetime!

Bridal Party + Key Lime Cupcakes

Some of the details that I love in this board include the bridal party attire as well as the lovely letterpress invitations printed in orange ink! And check out those amazing wedding shoes!! What a perfect match. Guests were treated to an array of treats both salty and sweet! Keylime cupcakes were a big hit as was the traditional wedding cake! In addition, as favors to their guests... a gourmet popcorn was set up and guests were encouraged to treat themselves to a bag full! Creative packaging and a thank you note made for such a lovely display!

Cranberry & plum are simply two colors that I would never have expected to like together. To my surprise, they really are a fun combination! That's why when I got the request to pair these two together again, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to get to work. The bride wrote to me and told me all about the summer farmhouse wedding she was planning. Charming details like a signature cranberry cocktail set the tone for this casual and fun affair. Cranberry Signature Cocktail + Cherries for favors

Details that stand out to me in this board are the mason jar lined aisle as well as the tasty display of ripe cherries that the newlyweds gave to their guests as favors. Guests enjoyed tractor rides around the farm and took part in fun games like horseshoes and crochet. The casual vibe of this wedding is one that guests truly appreciated and would remember for years to come.
