The holidays are such a busy time of year what with all of the holiday parties, last minute shopping trips, and family get togethers. But for those of us who are not fortunate to live near family, that means traveling is sometimes necessary. As a married couple, figuring out where to spend the holidays is sometimes difficult. But it really doesn't have to be. Luckily, we've sort of worked out a system that works for us. For instance this year we stayed here for Thanksgiving and so for Christmas, we're going to see his family. {continued...}

One of the things that you learn when you're married is that you now have two homes & two families to think about. So this board started out with the idea of travel and with the image of a bride sitting on some red vintage luggage. If only traveling was this glamorous! I absolutely love the holiday desserts, the little red barn blanketed in snow and the handmade ring bowl. This palette of red and white is simply classic. I imagined that this couple could give out candy canes packaged with red and white striped ribbon & personalized favor tags. So where is everyone traveling to this holiday? Wherever you go, I wish you safe travels & a happy holiday!
