Inspired Ink: Yellow Makes Me Happy!

Nothing makes me happier than to see my color palettes being brought to life! That's why when Kristy of Momental Designs recently reached out to me in hopes of collaborating together I was more than excited to see what she would come up with! All I had to do, she told me, was pick a color palette and Kristy said she would design an invitation that would coordinate! Ultimately, I decided to choose this gorgeous palette of chocolate brown, latte & yellow! This board is entitled 'Yellow Makes Me Happy"

Kristy began with this gorgeous 100% recycled paper, hand-pressed with her lacy leaves pattern and added touches of sparkling amber shimmer ink here, there and everywhere. The blooms throughout were created with a few swirls of her brush for a spirited and whimsical look. She even tore a bit of vintage fabric to fashion the gate-fold’s tie. Isn't it gorgeous! I absolutely love it!

So there you have it! A beautiful hand crafted invitation inspired by none other than one of my own color palettes! I absolutely love how her design turned out and I think that it's really special to see how an artist is able to take an inspiration board & turn it into something tangible that can be used to accent your wedding day!
