{Antique Gold & Shades of Gray}
I've long been a fan of yellow & gray together... So when I got the request to put together a board that incorporated gold & gray I was beyond excited. Gold & gray really marry quite nicely with one another. Wouldn't you agree? I just love how soft this color palette feels. Incredibly romantic, and almost vintage feeling... Gold and gray is a color palette that makes my creative wheels start turning. There are just so many ways to use these colors. In my design, I incorporated bridesmaids dresses of varying styles. By incorporating a mix of styles, this really adds both personality and a touch of uniqueness. {continued...}

Bumble Bee Hair Pin
Looking for some new ways to embellish your hair do's? Check out these great leaf halos & bumble bee hair pins. {Both found on Etsy}. For invitations, I used a design from Wedding Paper Divas that incorporated a bird motif. A subtle nod to the birds & the bees really makes for a fun theme. Don't you think? Yellows and golds were brought to life in the forms of bouquets & centerpieces. To add a touch of whimsy to their day, I decided to use bumble bee stickers & seals on everything from the save the dates to the wedding programs. As the night came to an end, the bride & groom were sent off in style with a tunnel of sparklers.

I've been hoping for a custom design client to choose this exact color combo for the longest time. I would love to do a soft gold metallic floral detail against a gray paper. The charcoal gray invite with gold detail here is SO lovely.
