Bright and cheery colors always have a way of making me smile. Especially when they are incorporated into spring or summer weddings. I don't think it's any secret that I'm a big fan of the color yellow. It just radiates such a happy energy & there is simply no denying the impact it has. Pairing yellow with fun colors like apple green, mint, orange & a touch of gray is a recipe thats just bursting with personality! This is the inspiration board that I created for Amanda's upcoming summer wedding. Amanda's only request to me was that her bridesmaids wear yellow sundresses. So off to the drawing board I went... Yellow Cake + Escort Cards
Some of my favorites in this board include the escort card display which featured striped swatches of sewn on fabric. It's details like those that give this wedding it's homespun feel. Other fun details include the table decor which consists of small arrangements of flowers on green runners. Homemade wooden table numbers give dinner tables an added touch while patterns like stripes and florals brighten the overall reception. The bride & groom sent their guests home with keylime cupcakes & a sincere thank you! As the night came to an end, the couple hopped on a bicycle built for two.
