Aren't these colors just to die for? I dont know about you, but I'm just loving this rich navy blue color of these bridesmaids dresses! This design was made especially for Lauren, a bride-to-be, who recently wrote to me and asked for my help. Lauren told me that that the venue where she is getting married has wild peacocks roaming the grounds and so she was thinking of incorporating a peacock theme into her day! {continued...}

Peacock Feathers in Hair + Bridal Hair Piece

The trouble, she said, was that she was having a hard time visualizing everything. In my design, I dressed ladies in lovely floor length navy blue gowns. Gold jewelry and accessories were handmade for this special occassion which truly set the tone for what would be a truly special occassion. To incorporate the peacock theme, I had each bridesmaid wear real peacocks in their hair! Bouquets also had feathers throughout and were bound together by a shimmery teal satin ribbon. On paper items like save the dates, invitations & programs, a feather motif was used which really tied together the day. In addition, centerpieces were displayed in lovely blue vases that were detailed in gold trim. Guests went home with memories that would last a lifetime.
