{Chocolate Brown, Ivory + White}

This inspiration board was inspired by the movie "The Notebook" and by Jenny's love for the colors chocolate brown, ivory and white. Jenny wrote to me and told me that she and her fiance were planning a wedding with the movie "The Notebook" as a theme. In my design for Jenny, I incorporated vintage chocolate dresses complete with chocolate gloves & a lovely hair piece. I decided to choose an old plantation for the venue that was located near a peaceful & serene lake. The plantation style home was both charming & the perfect spot for Jenny's reception. {continued...}

Lovely Wedding Dress

The ceremony took place under a large oak tree where the couple said their vows in front of close family & friends. A subtle damask pattern was used on invitations which added a little something special. The couple had a lovely time dancing & celebrating with their guests at their wedding, but could not wait to spend their first moments together alone as husband and wife. As a surprise to their guests, when it was time to say goodbye...the couple had the entire wedding party walk down to the dock. The bride and groom got into a little paddle boat and floated away at sunset
