{Georgia on My Mind}: Orange, Peach, Ivory + White

{Orange, Peach, Ivory + White}

Peach marries nicely with the color cream now doesn't it? I happen to think so! This is the custom inspiration board that I put together for a Georgia bride-to-be, Stacy, who was planning a Georgia peach themed wedding. Stacy told me that she was planning a wedding that will take place on a peach tree farm. How absolutely charming I thought! In my design, I dressed the ladies in peach chiffon dresses. Each lady wore a lovely strand of peach colored pearls and matching heels. {continued...}

In lieu of traditional floral centerpieces, I decided to add interest by using peaches in the centerpiece design. In addition, a single peach was placed at each chair which not only held the placecards but also added an additional pop of color. Tables were dressed in peach colored table cloths that incorporated fun stripes & votive candles provided great ambiance to the reception space. As a special treat, guests were treated to both peach martini's & peach cobbler. Guests went home with mason jars filled with homemade peach perserves & a sincere thank you from the bride & groom.

Hey I LOVE your board!It has helped me get a little bit more inspired!
I was wondering what you would suggest to me as a Fashion Student who is required to make an inspiration board and Iam using a peach as my inspiration.I must use a La Vie En Rose colour Palette which consists of corals,peach,purple and it can only be from magazines.
Thanks for your inspiration

Hi b.lynn, Glad that this helped inspire you! Sounds like you have your color palette picked out, do you have a subject matter? Will it be an inspiration board about a wedding? No matter what the subject my advice to you is to try to find images that evoke the senses, communicate a certain feeling/place & also don't forget to try your hardest to find some pictures that include both the color palette & people in them. Good luck!
