Inspiration Board # 196: Red, Black & White

{Red & Black}

When the color of red is combined with black and white polka dots the result is simply charming. Isn't this palette fun? Incredibly cute and yet so easy to pull off. For Kimberly's design, I gave her bridesmaids fun polka dotted dresses. Each lady wore a pair of cherry red heels that added both a pop of color and personality. To compliment their attire, I chose black beaded necklaces and a pair of black earrings for each lady. Bridesmaids carried bouquets of red roses tied with polka dotted ribbons. For the groomsmen, I chose polka dotted ties that were both fun and unique. The programs were made to look like newspapers as were the invitations.

For extra design appeal, a lovely sillouhette motif was incorporated to add interest and was used throughout their day on things like favors and menus. It's details like these that guests really appreciated. In addition, to infuse a little more fun into their day, Kimberly opted to have a photo booth at her wedding. Each guests was encouraged to make their own photo strip and take it home as a momento. For dessert, the couple chose to have yummy cup cakes instead of a traditional wedding cake. This proved to be a big hit with wedding guests!
