{Long Reception Tables}

There is just something about a long wedding table that says family and togetherness. Rather than scattering tables all over a reception hall, having one or a few long tables can make your reception a very intimate experience if your location can accommodate it.

Long tables remind me of the old Italian tradition of having large families sit outside at sunset sipping wine and enjoying family.

Seating your guests at one very long table or a couple of very long tables is one way to truly make your wedding more classy and to make the experience more memorable for your guests.

If you want your reception to have an even stronger sense of togetherness, consider serving the meal family style. Passing dishes, and sharing food is a tradition that makes you feel like you are sitting down for a thanksgiving meal. And that in and of itself is special.

They work really well for a backyard affair...

And in contrast, long tables works really well in a modern ballroom.

Perfect for conveying a down home vibe...
Long tables are perfect for country or rustic venues too!

So simple yet so charming.

Using long tables at your reception will ensure that a wonderful time will be had by all!
Thoughts? Opinions? Are we loving these or are we loving these !

Hi, are these your pics? I'm working on an art project for my living room and I would love to be able to use the orange/yellow ballroom picture. Please let me know if it is yours or (if not) whose it is. Thanks! Leah
