{Orange & Slate Gray}
I don't think its any secret that slate gray & orange are one of my favorite color combinations. And that's why when I got the request to put this palette together again, I just couldnt help but jump at the chance. I'm loving slate gray and orange together lately. So much so that I think it's safe to say that I have considered changing my colors on many occasion! For bride-to-be Alexa, her email to me was all about creating a fun filled fall environment, full of punchy color and personality! To add intereset to Alexa's bridal party I opted to give her two separate bridesmaids looks. One dress in slate gray and one in this fun orange hue. I chose to have Alexa's bridesmaids wear gray and to honor her matron of honor I chose to have her wear the orange. Groomsmen looked sleek in gray and wore quirky orange ties that had a fun polka dot pattern. In my design, I incorporated a lovely place setting. Specialty china was used as was a gorgeous orange colored plate charger. To add some ambiance, small tea light candles were floating in shallow glass bowls. A menu was designed which incorporated some orange damask detailing. This same detailing was used on the save the dates. Guests went home with candles and a sincere thank you from the bride & groom.
