{Plum & Lavender}
Anna's email to me was all about the color purple. She said she really wanted to keep the palette simple by using a deep plum shade and complimenting it with perhaps a little lavender. In my design for Anna, I did just that. I kept it simple. After doing so many designs one thing I have realized is that when you keep your palette simple, the result is generally more impressive than if you use lots and lots of colors. For Anna's wedding, I chose lovely plum colored dresses. Groomsmen were dressed in preppy purple pull overs (say that 3 times fast) that really added personality to the overall look. A floral motif was incorporated into the save the date design as well as the invitations. Guests went home with homemade rasberry jam and a sincere thank you from the bride & groom.
