{A Southern Wedding}; Navy Blue & Copper

{Navy Blue & Copper}

I created this design for a girl named Brooke. Brooke is getting married this November at a lovely plantation in Charleston, South Carolina. For Brooke's wedding I incorporated navy blue and copper which proved to be a beautiful and striking color combination. Just look at how rich this looks! Isn't it lovely? This color scheme is both easy on the eyes and easy to pull off. For her bridesmaids, I chose to give the ladies gorgeous navy blue tea length dresses. To compliment the look, groomsmen wore custom made navy blue vests with khaki's. {continued...}

Copper Urn for Centerpieces

Plantation Venue on Water

The invitations were designed to include a lovely copper ribbon which added great warmth. For added character, I chose to include a wax seal on all of the envelopes. Tables were dressed in navy blue custom linens and I incorporated a lace overlay to add extra texture and interest. Centerpieces of all white blooms were kept low and simple which came across as incredibly charming. To thank their bridal party and to add additional personality to their day...the ladies were given copper colored broaches and the men were given copper cuff links. These small details added vintage flair that guests truly appreciated. Guests went home with little boxes of chocolate covered pecans and a sweet thank you from the newlyweds.
