{Modern I Do's}: Slate Gray & Gold

{Slate Gray, Gray & Gold}

Slate gray and gold are two colors that marry nicely, especially for a fall wedding. In my design, I created a custom board for a bride to be who was admittedly unsure about the direction she wanted to go esthetically. In my design, I put together a beautifully coordinated palette, full of richness, warmth and texture. How did I pull it off? To start my design, I concentrated on these
gorgeous table numbers. Aren't those the coolest? I love depth they provide and I love that they are easy to do yourself :) {continued...}

Bird Accent

Manzanita Branch Centerpiece

Table Numbers

To play off their design, I had groomsmen wear slate gray suits accented with mustard gold paisley ties. I used branch centerpieces that had been spray painted gold and draped with crystals. A bird motif was used here and there to add personality to the day and candlelight was used on just about every surface imaginable to add warmth and ambiance.
