{Lemon & Linen}: A Summery Palette of Yellow + White

March 6, 2009
{Yellow & White}

When yellow meets the crisp simplicity of white...there are bound to be sparks! Just look at how this combination shines! Its summery, its vibrant, its full of life! When Kristine wrote to me about the lemon colored wedding she was planning for June I just knew I had to make her something special to capture of of the ideas I had for her! I chose forsythia for her centerpieces and yellow roses for her bouquets. A fun polka dotted motif was seen throughout her day which really added some extra personality. Cupcakes were designed to incorporate the couples monogram and guests went home with little jars of homemade honey.

It's when I see inspiration boards like this that I reconsider the b&w theme. Great board!

GORGEOUS!

I just saw your comment on Our Labor of Love's blog. I am getting married in Dahlonega in the fall! We are getting married at Neverland Farms! How funny. Are you going to the "not wedding"? where is your rehearsal dinner?

Yep. we're getting married up at Frogtown Cellars (a winery )in Dahlonega..Neverland Farms.. I believe I've heard of that. When is the 'not wedding'? Is that like a bridal show? I've heard of it, but didnt realize that was something coming up any time soon. Our rehearsal dinner is at Blackstock Vineyards.
