{Lovely Duo!}: Navy Blue, Fuchsia + Ivory

{Navy Blue & Pink}

For this wedding, bride-to be- Carolyn wanted me to put together a navy blue, ivory and hot pink inspiration board that had a nautical theme. She said she was debating adding some hot pink to the flowers and that she needed some inspiration on where to add some more hot pink accents. Design delimma solved! I went ahead and took away the blue hydrangea flowers she was planning on using and replaced them with hotter than hot pink bouquets! I think they look really good!

Favorite Details: Rope accents, starfish placecards, Navy Vests.

In addition, I gave the groom an orchid for his lapel which had a splash of hot pink. Groomsmen wore patterned navy blue vests with little rope boutonnieres which really added to the nautical feel she was going for. And candles were used on just about every surface imaginable. Guests left the party with hot pink boxes that had 2 sand dollars inside and a note from the bride & groom thanking them for being a part of their special day!

I love this board. These are my colors, and the hot pink shoes are actually the ones I'm wearing on my wedding day.

How would I know what a Navy/ teal/ and hot pink wedding would look like? I'm thinking Navy for the dresses with the aqua accents. But I want bright flowers...so I'm thinking hot pink with this pallet? Any thoughts?

I was thinking of having navy blue bridesmaid dresses and having cherry blossoms as the main flower. I originally wanted to do it with brown bridesmaid dresses or sage green, but everyone vetoed those real fast. Not sure how it will look or envision it
