{Lovely Vineyard Wedding}: Plum, Sage & Silver

{Plum, Sage Green & Silver}

When Laura wrote to me about wanting to use a winery theme without actually being in a vineyard...I knew it was time to put my thinking cap on. This is actually very similar to a design I just completed for another bride, however, Laura decided to not include any brown in her decor. To create the winery feel, I gave Laura's bridesmaids a deep plum shade for their dresses. Rich in color, this really set the tone for Laura's theme. {continued...}

Favorite Details: Candlelit Aisle, Olive Oil Favors, Barrel Cocktail Tables.

Wine barrels were placed throughout the space which functioned as tall cocktail tables. Accessories were kept simple in silver, and truly added a touch of elegance to an otherwise rustic space. For the table setting, I chose plum linens with ivory overlays. Sage napkins were folded on top of plates and really added that extra pop of color to the overall look. The specialty china I chose had a plum motif around the rim, and plum colored candles sparkled and made the room come to life. For centerpieces, I chose beautiful deep plum calla lilies that were displayed in different sized sage colored bottles. Guests went home with little bottles of olive oil.
